Subscription Season 2009 for Orange Civic Theatre

project: 2009 Subscription Season client: Orange Civic Theatre brief: Create a new theme look for promotion of the 2009 Subscription Season, tying all aspects of the printed material together. Strategy: Sauce Design developed a custom diecut invitation complete with interactive fold-out 'chair' inviting recipients to "Take a Seat". This was a continuation of the Q & A dialogue from our previous design theme ("Do you love Theatre?") and a play on words highlighting the recently completed refurbishment of the seating in the theatre. The phrase was also familiar to the target audience - echoing the fundraising campaign for the seating with a similar name. outcome: The result was a fun, inviting campaign with visual elements portraying a back-stage theme. The patron is given a birds-eye view from behind-the-scenes, with a sense of the exhilaration and excitement building up to the hold your breath moment - as the curtain opens. All promotional material was branded with a similar look and feel, identifiable colours, and the text speech bubble was a repeat call-to-action .
