New site for Lovick Group
Another sample of our high end content managed sites is the recently launched www.lovick.com.au
A client with three distinct areas of business, Lovick Group of Companies required a solution that would logically direct their website users to the relevant service. Here's what they had to say:
"The Lovick Group of Companies is commercially competitive in all its business activities, particularly the marketing of its products and services. A relevant and cutting edge web site was required as an integral component of our business strategy. Our brief to Sauce Design was to create a website reflecting the diversity of our businesses with easy and intuitive navigation for potential and existing clients which created interest and most importantly for the site to be a measurable 'call to action', that is for our clients to contact the Lovick Group.
Sauce Design has more than met that brief."
We're very proud to have had a hand in helping Orange City Council with the celebration of 150 years of Local Government. Sauce Design have produced a commemorative calendar, pull-up banners, and our latest offering – a wiki, to record stories about the people, places, events and services that contribute to local government in Orange.
This week Sauce Design is especially excited to see the launch of the new Orange City Council website, a huge project for us which has been some time in the making. Take a tour here:
Not content with a generic look from Twitter's template shelves, Central West Libraries
asked Sauce Design for some help to 'vamp up' their twitter site making it fun & funky. You can view the site at
Sauce Design is proud to have contributed to the Australian Library & Information Association's 'Little Book of Public Libraries' project.
project: 2009 Subscription Season
client: Orange Civic Theatre
brief: Create a new theme look for promotion of the 2009 Subscription Season, tying all aspects of the printed material together.
Strategy: Sauce Design developed a custom diecut invitation complete with interactive fold-out 'chair' inviting recipients to "Take a Seat". This was a continuation of the Q & A dialogue from our previous design theme ("Do you love Theatre?") and a play on words highlighting the recently completed refurbishment of the seating in the theatre. The phrase was also familiar to the target audience - echoing the fundraising campaign for the seating with a similar name.
outcome: The result was a fun, inviting campaign with visual elements portraying a back-stage theme. The patron is given a birds-eye view from behind-the-scenes, with a sense of the exhilaration and excitement building up to the hold your breath moment - as the curtain opens. All promotional material was branded with a similar look and feel, identifiable colours, and the text speech bubble was a repeat call-to-action .
CLIENT: Orange Regional Gallery in conjunction with Andrew Flatau
BRIEF: Design and production of a publication to compliment the touring exhibition of Cuthbert's work. The design and layout of the publication was to be crisp, modern, sophisticated and refined. The layout and colour schemes needed to allow the works to take precedence in the eye of the viewer. Consideration was taken to ensure that all visual elements compliment the artwork.
