The Orange Blossoms exhibition was dedicated to the gardeners of Orange past and present, and served as a cultural history of gardens in Orange and the surrounding district. Sauce Design created the look and feel, and the design, layout and formatting of the exhibition panels.
A layered, textural, organic feel was created using handmade elements, and a soft, light colour palette. The ‘blossom’ graphic was inspired by the golden elm, popular in early Orange parks and gardens.
The exhibition opened in September 2009, with guest speaker Trisha Dixon, a leading Australian garden and landscape photographer and writer. In 2010, the exhibition website was launched.
